“They clearly intended their one-year offer to be a signal to Ramirez that they want him back, and they’re prepared to make him the second-highest paid player in baseball this year, behind only Alex Rodriguez.
But in rejecting that offer, Ramirez and agent Scott Boras sent signals of their own — that they’re still looking for four to five years, at $25 million a year, and they believe they have other teams willing to pay that.” – LA Times.

What is wrong with this picture? Manny Ramirez wants 25 million for 4 years! NO ONE is worth $25 million a year, for anything!

To be considered the real deal in my book you need consistency. This cat has that and then some. I see a magic in this dude. He’s right up there with the best from the jump. He can carry a team on him back, hold his poise and deliver on request.

I saw him play the Suns last night. he dropped 53. Yeah, 53. Jordan style, Kobe style…Roy Style. I know I shouldn’t be praising him as a true Laker fan, but I’m mature enough to recognize. Even Kobe would. The Northwest lost a team, but gained a future legend. If you get a chance to watch him play, do so. I’ll cheer silently, shhh…
